Berkowitz Oliver Partners Jim Eisenbrandt and Christina DiGirolamo Obtain Significant Victory in Kansas Supreme Court
The Kansas Supreme Court dismissed a grand jury indictment that Jim Eisenbrandt and Christina DiGirolamo Wahl argued had violated their client’s right against self-incrimination. The Kansas Supreme Court also found that grand jury testimony from a Kansas Bureau of Investigation special agent was wrongfully prejudicial. By its 33-page decision, the Kansas Supreme Court overturned the 2011 holding of the Kansas Court of Appeals.
