Jasmine O. Ward ASSOCIATE

Personal Profile

Before joining Berkowitz Oliver, Jasmine served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Fernando J. Gaitan, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri. Jasmine earned her law degree at the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law and her undergraduate degree at Simpson College. In law school, Jasmine served as President of the Black Law Students’ Association, Vice-President of the Board of Barristers, Associate Justice on the University’s Supreme Court, and founding member of the Diverse Student Coalition. Jasmine also competed on the trial advocacy team and served as a research assistant in the area of federal post-conviction relief. Her internship experience includes a summer with the U.S. Department of Education – Office for Civil Rights. In her free time, Jasmine enjoys football (go Chiefs!), traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
