Jeff Morris focuses his practice on complex and high-stakes commercial litigation, federal criminal litigation and investigations. He has substantial federal trial experience in complex civil and criminal cases, business disputes, healthcare and commercial controversies, and general criminal violations. He represents clients in complex civil litigation, government proceedings, legal malpractice defense, internal investigations and proceedings involving corporate governance. He also advises corporations and individuals on defense strategy and response to prosecutorial scrutiny.
Jeff is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and is the State Chair for Kansas in 2026-2027. He has been selected for inclusion in the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. For 2025-26, Best Lawyers of America recognized Jeff as “Lawyer of the Year” in Criminal Defense: General Practice, and “Lawyer of the Year” for Criminal Defense: White-Collar in the Kansas City area.
