Berkowitz Oliver Employment Team Presents at Local SHRM Lunch
The Society for Human Resources Management of Greater Kansas City—one of the oldest and largest trade associations in the greater Kansas City area—hosted Berkowitz Oliver at their monthly lunch on September 8 to speak about recent developments in the ever-changing landscape of employment law. Attorneys Kathleen Nemechek, Sharon Stallbaumer, Alex Demasi, and Megan Costello spoke to SHRM members about the EEOC’s new enforcement priorities, best practices with pregnant employees, how to safely use AI in HR operations, and the current landscape for non-competes.
