Berkowitz Oliver spends another year in the “Hydration Station” at the 30th Annual AWL Golf Tournament!
Berkowitz Oliver has long been the “Hydration Station” sponsor of the Association for Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City’s “I’m Not Serious About Golf” tournament. This year was no different, with attorneys Sharon A. Stallbaumer, Courtney Kroeger, and Stephanie Boord, as well as paralegal Alex Gleason, staffing the booth this year. Hydration was not much needed as rain showers persisted through much of the tournament (played at Painted Hills), but participants made the most of the day and had a great time, including at our firm’s duck pond game where golfers drew a rubber duckie to see if they won a prize. In addition to manning the firm’s tent, Berkowitz Oliver’s own Megan Costello—a long time member of the AWL board of directors—was the event’s chair this year, and Stephan L. Skepnek represented the firm as a player in the tournament. “We raised record funds this year for AWL’s charitable foundation,” said Costello. “I’m so proud that Berkowitz Oliver has been such a strong supporter of AWL.”
Berkowitz Oliver is also a Gold-level sponsor of AWL, which is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year.
