Berkowitz Oliver underwrote the live entertainment at Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care’s annual signature fundraiser, Sunday Night Live , on September 15, 2019. The event was held in Kansas City’s Power and Light District and raised more than $425,000 for the many programs Kansas City Hospice offers, including grief support and a pediatric hospice program that is the only one of its kind in the region. Berkowitz Oliver was proud to be a sponsor of the 2017 Shields SAFEHOME Youth Soccer Clinic on February 20, 2017. The successful event provided 77 youth with the opportunity to interact with NFL Hall of Fame member Will Shields, receive coaching from FC Kansas City and Comets players, and learn about healthy relationships from SAFEHOME’s Education staff. SAFEHOME’s Education and Prevention Program provides school and community-based outreach to teach young people about teen dating violence, sexual assault, and healthy relationships.
