Gilman Presents on TCPA, Trademark Infringement to KU Students

Partner Stacey Gilman presented a virtual guest lecture on the TCPA, consumer consent, and privacy issues, and trademark infringement, to a marketing course at the University of Kansas on April 1, 2020. Stacey served as Associate Editor for the  Michigan Telecommunications and Technology Law Review  while in law school at the University of Michigan , and has been named a Super Lawyer for Business Litigation for many years.

Wieland Presents to Elementary School Students on Being a Lawyer

Partner Jennifer Wieland presented on being a lawyer to students at Career Awareness Day at Prairie Ridge Elementary in Shawnee, Kansas on February 12, 2020. She discussed what lawyers do, why they are important in our society, and school subjects that are helpful preparation for law school. Wieland was named a 2019 Super Lawyer for Business Litigation.

David Oliver has been awarded the Branton/Hall Community Collaborator Award for 2019 by the Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri . John Shaw has been nominated as Volunteer of the Year for Junior Achievement of Greater Kansas City for the 2017-18 school year. The mission of Junior Achievement of Greater Kansas City is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.
